Receive TV On Golden Wedding Long-time McKillop resid• e,nts until they retired in St Columban In 1964, Mr. and Mrs James Sloan , who celebrate, their 50th wedding anniversar• on dctober 17th were presente with a number of gifts to mar the occasion. Included among th , gifts was a television set, ores ented by members of their fair ily. Mr. Sloan, looking back over fifty years, recalled it had not been possible to take a wedding trip in 1920, but they had the trip three years ago when they spent a month visiting In Brit- ish Columbia. Welcome Members The C. G. I. T. meeting was opened by the pledge and a hymn, followed by a Sing Song. New members were welcomed into the group and a short pro- gramme was held. The president opened the business part of.the meeting. It was decided to have the mother and daughter banquet in the spring. The next meeting will , be 'November ,3 at, which time we are to tour the Nursing Home In Seaforth returning to the:Church for lunch. Kids love milk nat- urally!
