Ceremony of the Governor Gen-
erale Horse Guards, a Military
Regiment in Toronto, on Tues-
day of last week. At the recep-'
tion following the Regimental
Parade, Mr. and Mrs. AhrePs
were presented to Their Excel-
lencies, the ..Right Honourable
Roland Michener, C.C,C,D, art d
Mrs. Michener. Governer-Gen-
eral Michener is the Honorary
Colonel of the Regiment. Capt.
Clayton R. Ahrens is the Presi-
dent of the Officers Mess Com-
mittee of the Regiment.
Armand Legras has ,been a
patient in the Seaforth Community
Hospital since last Wednesday.
Douglas Gilbert returned home
Wednesday having undergone a
minor opeiation earlier in the
week.
Mr. and Mrs. Gary Sholdice
and family, Goderich were guests
of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Elligson
on Sunday.
The sympathy of the commun-

of the late Mrs. John Dietz and
