Over the years as he has
cruised the Great Lakes, Cdre
T. H. Bullard, 3'7510 Lakeville
Drive, Mt. Clemens, Mich. has
proudly replied to queries that
the name "Seaforth", which his
boat bears, is that of his home
town in Huron County, Ontario,
Canada.
Cdre Bullard, who has retired
from the Chrysler Corporation
(Simca Division) is Commodore
and Honorary member of the
Chrysler Yacht Club, Warren,
Michigan, He is also assoc-
iated with the United States
'Coast Guard Auxiliary and is
now District Staff Officer
in charge of Membership Train-
ing for the State of Michigan.
During the pleasure boat season
his work involves Search &
Rescue week-end patrols. Dur-
ing the winter months he directs
Public Education Courses in ,
Boating Safety for a Flotilla num-
bering 150 students.
Cdre Bullard is a ,son of the
Mrs. Edith Brothers presided
at the regular Huron-Perth TB
and Respiratory Disease Assoc"
iation Meeting in Seaforth on
Wednesday.Routine reports were
given by Committee Chairmen.

Londesboro, re-
ported that the Pulmonary
Function Machine purchased by
the Association is presently in
Stratford General Hospital and
that his committee has recom-
mended that tests be taken by
"Fair Go-ers" for three days.
The machine will also be used
at meetings for sufferers of
chronic bronchitis, emphysema
and asthma planned for Goderich
and 'Stratford in the near future.
Mrs. Edith Fisher of Mitchell
said that Dr. Owen Clarke, Med-
ical Director of the Beck Chest
Diseases Unit would be present
at the meetings. Industries in
'the area, too,,are being approa-
ched with regards to making
• available screening procedures.
Mrs,. Fisher said that bur-
saries had been awarded to two
students enrolled in the Inhale,.
Christianity".
The meeting was turned over
to Mrs. Keys and she presented
Mrs. Agar with a Life Member-
Oiip Certificate for her faithful
work in the W.M.S. Hymn 797
was , sung and Mrs. 'Keys cloged
the meeting with a prayer.
Cake and ice cream were
served during a social time after
the meeting.

iation's Director told the meeting

procedures are in progress.

Bullard, who resided for some
years in Seaforth. His mother,
will be recalled by those of a
generation or more ago as the
pianist for the Princess Theatre
which John McKenzie operated
until 1032. The silent theatre
was located in premises now
occupied by ,Brians Hair Dres-
sing salon in the Crich Block.
Cdre Bullard's grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bullard
were also residents of Seaforth.
The president Mrs. Jas. Keys
opened a meeting of First Church
W.M.S. with words of welcome
and a poem "Counting Our Many
Blessings". Hymn 496 was suni.
The Scripture Lesson was
read by Mrs. Iv,y Butt (takenfrom
St. Matthew, 5th Chapter, verses
1 to 12.)
Mrs. Francis Coleman
offered a prayer. The roll call
was answered by a favourite
hymn.
Mrs. Wad011 and Mrs. Jack
Thompson favoured the group
with a duet, entitled "Since Ye
Trusted Him", accompanied on
the piano by Mrs. John Mac-
Gregor.
Arrangements were made for
the Fall Thankoffering meeting
in October. Mrs. Harold Agar,
the group leader, took over for
the Devotional and opened with
Mrs. Waddell reading a poem
entitled "Indeed". Hymn 381
was sung. Mrs. Sam McClure
agave part of the study on "A
Chinese Girl" and Mrs. Agar
gave a piece on "Why.' an Indian
writer has turned his back on
