Hensall Recreation Commit-
* tee concluded the third week of
the summer recreational pro-
gramme. for area youngsters this
week. The activities have been
well attended and the games Of
floor hockey and other ball games
under the direction of Joe Rae-
burn have been popular with the
• older boys.
The large number of children
attending the craft sessions Indi-
cates interest in art.
The three week programme
will conclude on Saturday night
with a barbecue for the children
and their parents, who will also
is be able to view a display of the
articles made. There will be a.
dress up parade and decorated
bicycles contest with games to
complete the activities on Satur-
day night.
The parade is scheduled for
5;30 p.m., when it is hoped mem-
bers of the community will attend.
Mrs. J. L. McCloy and Carrie
of Don Mills, were recent visitors
with Mrs. Alma Hess, who re-
turned home with them for a short
visit returning home Saturday..

in Canada four weeks, and visited
in Quebec, Ridgetown, Brantford,

When their car hit a tree
about a half-mile north of Hen-
sail on Concession 4, Hay Town-
ship, about 1 a.m. Saturday, three
area youths were injured.
John Moir, 18, of Hensall,
driver ofhe car owned by Gerry
Willert, ra, R.R.2., Hensall, is in
satisfactory condition in St. Jo-
seph's Hospital, London. He suf-
fered a fractured elbow and other
injuries. •
Willert, a passenger, and
Leonard Smale, 19, of Hensall,
were treated at South Huron Disa
trict Hospital, Exeter, and re-
leased.
