After a short game and a hu-
morous reading by Mrs. Jane
Peters, Misses Debbie Prior,
Darlene Oesch, Jackie Wbrknian,
presented the bride-elect with
many gifts. Miss Gwen Bosnian
tied all the bows and ribbons from
the gifts on a sprayed branch to
form a colorful tree.
Lunch was served by Mrs.
Betty Bronson, Mrs. Ruth Lowe,
Mrs. Grace Lowe, Mrs. Jane
Peters, Mrs. Dianne iluether,
Mrs. Shirley Oesch and Mrs.
Betty McCutcheon.
Miss Lowe was a former em-
ployee of Jack Hood's School
Supplies in Stratford. Presently
she is employed with Dr. R. C.
Culbert of Brussels.

Visitors In Dublin Club members met at
James Devereaux's farm when
club leader, Don McKercher, was
assisted by club president, Barry

Mr. McKercher told of a Ws
trip planned for the 4-H members
on July 23 to Collingwood, inclu-
ding a chicken barbecue.
Michael Devereaux thanked

said that recently announced in-
creases in hydro rates had come
about because of increased costs
set by the IL E.P.C. The Seaforth
P.U.C. had nothing .to do with it
he said.

play of the crafts that the stu-
dents had made was arranged in
the north of the church for the
parents to see after the church
service. The children also sang
the hymns which they learned, in
the week, during the service.

TWo gravela trucks were ex-
tensively damaged and a man was
admitted to hospital,,asthe'result
of Separate single-vehicle akci-
dents Friday near Egmondville.
The two trueks were owned by
Levis Contracting Co. Ltd.,Clin-
ton. In Clinton Public Hospital
in satisfactory condition with mi-
nor injuries is Gordon Levis, 17, ,
Clinten.
The 'first accident eccurred
shortly before 5 p.m. when a truck
driven by the Levis youth ran off
Huron County Road 12,five miles
south of Egmondville, and Over-
turned in a ditch.
• A second Levis truck, driven
by Brian Caslick, Wingham, came
on the accident scene and ran off
the road in the opposite ditch. Mr.
Caslick escaped injury.-
• 'Damage to the two trucks was
estimated at $3,000.
