The occasion was marked with a • Solemn High Mass sung by Rev. Father T. Durand at St. iloraiface Roman Catholic Church 'at 1:00 p.m. in Zurich,.-This is the same church they were married in fifty years ago. Following the Mass the fa- mily went to the Dashwoodtorrf-- munity Centre where dinner was served tp 100 guests. After the dinner a reception was held In the Community Centre with ap- proximately 300 friends and rela- tives in the area present. Mr. Denomme is the son of Mrs. Rose Denomme who is in her 93rd year and the late Maxime Denomme and Mrs. Denomme Is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Regier. For her topic Mrs. Glen- ville gave a paper on the early history of Seaforth. The 4-H girls participated ill , the programme, presenting their exhibits and demonstrations which they ieave at Achievement Day. Staffs # I club gave a de- monstration on a Salad Plate with Ruth Jeffery 1 and Ruth Templeman participating. Staf 7 fa 42 set up an attractive PX- hitilt on Veeetahles' All Year Round, with Julie Ann 'Elliott giving the commentary. Staffa 43 gave a demonstration on Dressing up Vegetables, with Ma- rilyn Miller and Mrs. Gerald Carey participating. A contest on scrambled wards of items used In grandmother's kitchen, was enjoyed. Prizes were awarded to the oldest geend- mother, Mrs. Darrel Parker, youngest grandmother, Mrs. Ross Srtiale, grandmother with the most grandchildren, Mrs. Ed Butson. • Mr. and Mrs. Jack Burieigh, Goderich, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Norris spent the weekend' at ' Moose Factory and were guests at the Charionik-Fahey wedding.
