erties re-appraised at market value by
the year 1975. To complete this mammoth
task, I, the undersigned, solicit your co-
operation to complete this undertaking
in the shortest possible time. All mem-
bers of my staff are carrying an identifi-
cation card which will be presented on
contact.' You will facilitate the assessor
in his work' by allowing him to measure
the exterior of your buildings and giving
him free access to inspect the interior of
ydur buildings. The thorough inspection
of all properties is necessary in order
that property owners, can be equitably
assessed.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward De-
nomme of Zurich celebrated their
golden wedding anniversary on
Saturday. The occasion was
marked with a • Solemn High
Mass sung by Rev. Father T.
Durand at St. iloraiface Roman
Catholic Church 'at 1:00 p.m. in
Zurich,.-This is the same church
they were married in fifty years
ago. Following the Mass the fa-
mily went to the Dashwoodtorrf--
munity Centre where dinner was
served tp 100 guests. After the
dinner a reception was held In
the Community Centre with ap-
proximately 300 friends and rela-
tives in the area present.
Mr. Denomme is the son of
Mrs. Rose Denomme who is in
her 93rd year and the late Maxime
Denomme and Mrs. Denomme Is
the daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. John Regier.
Following their marriage they
lived at R,12,#3, Dashwood, where
they farmed until 1968'when they

The 1st vice-president,'

were 14 members and 14 visitors

with a corsage on arrival by
Mrs. Fussell Warden. Roll call,
to display a keepsake to pass on
to your children and grandchil-
dren, revealed many keepsakeS.
Mrs, Wilbur, Glanville pre-
sided for the programme and
gave a paper on the motto: It
Is not how long we live but how
well. For her topic Mrs. Glen-
ville gave a paper on the early
history of Seaforth.
The 4-H girls participated
ill , the programme, presenting
their exhibits and demonstrations
which they ieave at Achievement
Day. Staffs # I club gave a de-
monstration on a Salad Plate
with Ruth Jeffery 1 and Ruth
Templeman participating. Staf 7

hitilt on Veeetahles' All Year
Round, with Julie Ann 'Elliott
giving the commentary. Staffa

Dressing up Vegetables, with Ma-

used In grandmother's kitchen,
was enjoyed. Prizes were
