groye of Burlington, were in town
on Thursday.' Mrs. Causgrove
was the former Dorothy Carter
whose father was in the grocery
business on Main St.

ronto was a weekend guest of Mr.
and Mts. James F. Scott, Ann St.
Mr. and Mrs. John McIntosh

friends In Tuckersmith over the
weekend. Mrs. MC.Intosh was the
former Anne Haugh.,
Miss Mae Smith and Mr. Ro-
bert Smith left Saturday by plane
for England and Scotland.

of London spent the weekend with

Mrs. Martin Haan presided
for the business. Plans were
made for a bridal shower for the
bride elect, Miss Linda Johnston
in the basement of the church. A
thank-you card was read from
Mrs. Cliff Ritchie. There will he
no meeting in Augusf and theSep-
tember meeting is to be held at
the home of Mrs. Harvey Craig.
Mrs. George Williamson
thanked everyone for their help
and gifts on the night of their
40th anniversary.
Miss Shirley Williamson re-
turned home Monday • from Sea-
forth Community Hospital where
she had. been a patient following
surgery.

the Legion Women's Auxiliary
bus trip. to Niagara Falls, will
meet at the. Legion Hall Tuesday
morning. The bus es leave the
hall at 8 a.m.
