11.4641 HURON EXPOSITOR. SEAFORTH, ONT., JULY 2, Ifint
No one was diSappointed when this barn was destroyed by fire last Wednesday eveking,
but thg owner, Joe Eckert of R.R.#1, Dublin got more action than he bargained for when he
set fire to the old building. A well-meaning neighbour notified the Mitchell Fire Depart-
ment which responded to the call followed by 'scores of thrill seekers. Assistant Fire
Marshall Jack Scott of Seaforth said the incident illustrates the importance of notifying
the local Fire Department whenever a fire Is set intentionally. - • (Staff Photo)
