Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jackson were tiblidaying in the Owen Sound area last week. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Walker and son, Mark, of Farmington, Mich., were guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Hoover and Mrs. J. E. Keating. Mrs. Leslie Oliver is a patient in Victoria -Hospital, London. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Stewart and Mrs. J. A. Cox of Toronto spent the weekend here. Mrs. W. C. Bennet left on Tuesday for Vancouver, B.C., going by bus to Fargo, N. Dakota, and returning by Calgary, Alta. Mr. and Mrs. peter Simpson and: Peter, Jr., have returned from a visit to Scotland. Mr. Anderson Scott left on Tuesday fOr Vancouver, B.C. Mrs. Ed. Stapleton is a pat- ient in. Seaforth Community Hospital. . Mr. Edward' McIver, Kathy and Barbara from Kitchener, spent 'the week end with Mrs. Sarah McIver. Rev. J. Ure and Mrs. Stewart attended the Ellwood-Dewan wed- ding in Colbourne St., United Church London on Sabirday and were gUests of Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Parsons. Mrs. Cora Barrows spent the Say Farewell With Party • A farewell party for Mr. and Mrs. Dale Maidens 'and their family was' staged at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Taylor, Winthrop, last Wednesday even- ing. Attending were over forty leaders of the various youth groups in the Boy Scout Associa- tion and members of the goys and Girls Committee of the Seaforth Lions Club. Mr. and Mrs. Maidens and their children have been active in the Association while living 'in Seaforth. Mr. Maidens has been adviser to the Venturers and Mrs. ' Maidens ,has been a Brownie leader of the Second Brownie Pack. Ed. Taylor made the farewell " address and Dave Schenck presented gifts to the family. Mr. Maidens is being transferred from the Canadian Forces Base at Clinton to Camp I3orden. -STAG- for RAY Mc LEAN SATURDAY July 4, 1970 Hensall Arena Auditorium past week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Broadfoot and family of Sarnia. Mont- gomery of Toronto visited last week with his cousin) Mrs. Bell Moore and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Forsyth in 'uckersmith. Miss Mary Walker who has been in Toronto for some time, spent a few days here. a Mrs. J. H. Grant and Miss Elizabeth Grant of Waterloo were week end guests with Mr. and Mrs. A. Y. McLean.
