Tuesday night to organize Ladies
Softball in Seaforth for the sum-
mer.
Two teams were chosen from
.the gatherins which was held at
the Lions Park.
The teams will play throngh-
out the summer on Tuesday

the league will generate enough
interest to form four teams in
the next few weeks.
Last Wednesday evening the
Optimist sponsored Pee Wees
won their fifth game in a row
by defeating Mitchell 15-U in
a hit filled game which saw 23
hits with Seaforth picking up 14

<Shag) Benngwies made a few
controversial calls. Manager
Moe (Mauch) Huard states "We
are giving up too many walks and
making too many errors which
later on in the season could cost
us games therefore we will have
to sharpen up if we want to keep
on winning". The game was at-
tended by many fans and the Pee
Wee staff would like to thank the
people who came out to watch.

SEAFORTH 2 - DASHWOOD 7
After spotting Seaforth two
runs at the end of two innings
Dashwood came to life to score
three runs in the second and four
runs in the third innings to
defeat our Pee Wees 7-2. This
was the first loss of the season
for .the Pee Wees and gave them
a 5 win - 1 loss record. Dash-
wood's pitching and fielding stood
up during the whole garrie as
Seaforth only picked up three hits.
As stated after the'previimagame
by Moe Huard, coach Ray (Rusty)
mermen states that "Those walks
and errors cost us this game but
I know our boys can play better
than this and we can beat this
team. Monday night will be a
different story."
Quickies - Although Seaforth
lost the game Bobby Schenck
played an outstanding game at
second base and Dougie (Coco)
Anstett had a very good night
at bat as well as in right field
where he played his first full
game. Gord Carnochan also
played a good game as our cat-
cher. This was the boys first
game under the lights.
