Mrs. Bob 'Cronin
House League Softball Teams
are being organized but more
coaches are needed for' both the
boys and girls teams.
Mrs. Bill O'Rourke and Mrs.
Joe Cronin are orgainizing the
girls teams and Joe Cronin, Ken
Whetham and Dave Brown are
organizing the boys teams. Those
wishing to help are asked to con-
tact the committee.
The playground will be opened
the first week in July with super-
visors as last year.
It is hoped that sweaters will
also be provided for the softball
teams.

Frank Bruxer.
The Athletic Association is
also holding a dance on June 19
with ROyce Riehi providing the
music. There will, be doO'r prizes
and table snacks.
Meetings of the Athletic As-
sociation are held the last Sunday
of every month in the Dublin
Separate School Auditorium and
are open to the public.

The Dublin Athletic Associa-
tion are sponsoring the Dublin
Junior Soccer Team which is
playing in the Stratford Industrial
League. It is`hoped that sweaters
may be provided for the boys in
the near future.

students to go to Ottawa thispast
weekend to attend the Safety Pat-
rol Jamboree. The Jamboree was

formation will be provided.

The top and bottom for a quilt
was donated by Mrs. Edward
Scherbarth Sr., and Mrs.Lloyd
-Prueter which was stamped by
Mrs. Reuben Bunck and quilted
by Mrs'. Irvin Miller. This quilt
along with a donation of bed
sheets from L.C.W. 'were sent
to the Waterloo Seminary. Used
clothing and layettes will be sent
in June to Ldtheran World Relief..
Mrs. Minnie Vock and Mrs.Edwin
Scherbarth reported ,on the Re-
treat which they attended at the
home of Allan Z inns, North East-
hope.
Two, Get Well cards were
signed and sent to Mrs. Lavina
Beuerman and Mrs.George Mogk
who are hospitalized at the See-
forth Community Hospital. Mrs.
Dan Beuerrean is still a patient
there.
Birthdays were reported by
Mrs. Irvin Miller, Mrs. Martin
Dietz and Mrs. Johas Dittrher.
Mrs. Dittmer donated a dec-
orated birthday cake Weil was
served. Mrs.Lloyd Prueter pre-
sided at the piano.

of the death of Dr. Harvey Da-
vidson of Niagara Falls. He was
the son of the late Rev. and Mrs.
Thomas, former Presbyterian
minister of Varna and Blake

The Explorer GrOup met in
the church Tuesday evening with
the president, Miss Cathy Taylor,
in charge. Miss Beverly Cante-•
Ion read the scripture lesson.
Miss Anna Marie Heard gave the
prayer. Miss Nancy Fawcett read
the minutes and the roll call
which was answered by 10 mem-
bers. Miss Sandra_Webster read
a poem. Miss Patsy Taylor took
up the offering and MIN Sandra
-Webster dedicated it. During the
business a donation was made to
a poor child.

of Miss Frances Beuerman, bride
elect of this month, was held in
Cavan Church, Winthrop, on
Thursday evening.
The programme began with
community singing. Other num-
bers included a guitar trio by
Ray McNichol, Clare McClure
and Debbie McClure, with Cheryl
and Shirley McClure assisting
with the singing; a reading by
Mrs. Dave Watson; violin solo by
Linda Godkin accompanied by
