A. VISIT TO THE BAKERY
During the holidays the
Brownies of the 2nd. Seaforth
Pack visited Trapnell's Bakery..
When we first arrived the bakers
were busy taking pies and cakes
from a huge oven which looked
like a Orris wheel. It was very
hot, in there but it sure smelled
gOOd. Then, we saw them mak-
ing Clover Leaf buns and they
gave us a piece of dough to play
around with. They were making
Chelsy Buns and the way they
make them is they get a long long
piece of dough and then put in
nuts. raisins and cheriiies then
rolled it up and cut it into even
pieces to rise and bake. We
also saw them making buns and
Vead. , They had two htige cans
with flour, sugar and brown sugar
in them. At the end of the tour
they gave us a bag with a cookie
and tart in. it. We enjoyed this
very much and 'also learned more
about the bakery and the town.
After we left the bakery we
went to Sea,forth Creamery to
see how the sandwich spread
is made and wrapped.
