ActiOn". Delegates heard ex-
perts from a number of fields
discuss social problems ranging
from drug abuse to the church
• in the modern world. '
Attending from this area were
Mrs. Eula Kellar of Seaforth
Public School, Mrs. Doreen
Oesch of Zurich school and
Mrs. Evelyn Merrill of Clinton
school.
' Speakers at the conference
included Dr. Margaret Nix of
Pace College, New York, who-
spoke on children in modern
society, "The Decisive Years",
A panel discussed the new role
of women, with panelists in-
cluding Dr. Lite-Rose Betcher-
man, Director of the. Wcnen's
Bureau, Ontario Department of
Labour, and representatives of
the New Feminists, as well as
D. W. Johnson and Thomas
Reid df Toronto, who expressed
conservative views on the role
of women,.
One of the highlights of the
Conference was a play, "The
Concept", performed by former
drug addicts from Daytop Village
in New York. The play which has
been running off-Broadway for
,almost two years, gave Con-
' ference delegates an insight in-
to the causes and treatmencof
addiction.

actual losses attributable to each of the above
described passenger -train services in each of'the

hearing in Owen Sound commencing on March
31,and then to consider the application of Cana-
dian Pacific Railway Company shown in II above
