Last----Thursday evening.
several students of Mr. Burgess'
grade thirteen English class en-
tertained Seaforth's drama
lovers with their presentation of
Noel Coward's ,,Fallen Angels",
a comedy in three acts. The
director of the production' was
Jim Rowat and the cast included
Dawna Reynolds, Nico Peters,
pat Ryan, Tom Burke, Gwen Mc-
Lean and Joe Murray. -On the
make-up staff were Cindy Eisler,
Chris. Turnbull and Angela Dev- •
ereaux.
The interest of the play
centred around two young -
married British women, played
by Dawna Reynolds and 'Gwen
McLean, and a visit to theft
.icy a man with whom they had
each had an affair previous to •
marriage. This sophisticated
Frenchman was portrayed byJoe
Murray. • Throughout the play, the
audience was kept laughing with, •
and at, the girls 'as they exper-
ienced jealousy, anxiety and
anger while waiting, evening
gowns, champagne, crystal, and
all, for the arrival of their ex-
pected guest. A few too many
martinis got things moving and-
humour reached a climax as Gwen
and Dawna "overindulged" at
their dinner party without the
guest of honour.' Their scheme
was thrown into confusion when
,_-their husbands, Tom Burke. and
Nico Peters, appeared home,
early.lrom a trip and were infor-
ed bY the Maid", -Rat-Ryan, that
their wives had "run off" with a
handsome foreigner. The d'ur.,
tains closed on a note of satis-
faction as the whole cast appeared
to extricate thernselves from the
mix-up, the result of over-active -
'imagination on the part of the two
digsatisfied wives. •
