Scripture from Jonah, Chapter
4 followed by Mrs. H. Bolger of-
fering prayer.
The topic, "The Church
Calendar" , on China was taken
by Mrs. H. Bolger, which included
discussion,

and rhinestone pin, a gift from
the bride. She carried a cascade
of white sweetheart roses.
Mr. Erwin 'Ward, Seaforth,
brother of the groom was
groomsman and the ushers were
Mr. -Larry Eaton, Toronto, bro-
ther of the, bride, and Mr. Lyle
Ward, Seaforth, brother of the
groom Mrs. Don Carter, orga-
nist played traditional wedding
music.
The wedding dinner was held
in the Orange Hall on North Main
Street and a reception followed
at the home of the bride's parents.
The bride's mother received
the guests wearing a two piece
suit of deep rose shirred silk,
with satin trim.and a white car-
nation corsage. She was assisted
'by the groom's mother, wearing
a green printed *ilk dress with a
white carnation corsage.
For travelling the bride chose
e fur jacket over a blue and gold
houndstooth check wool suit,
:black patent accessories, and a
rose corsaee.
They will reside at 105 Go-
derich Street East, Seaforth, Ont.
Guests were present from
Toronto, Richmond Hill, Wing-
ham, Goderich, Bluevale, Wroxe-
ter; Stratford and Seaforth. •
Prior to her marriage, bridal
showers were held at the'homes

Marks, was in a form of
missionary letter, telling of the •
struggle these devoted followers
have in hospitals trying to heal
under poor conditions, and at
the same time doing their best
to improve facilities.
A summary on the Huron•&e
perth Presbyterial meeting het,
in Clinton was given by Mrs.'
Nelson Reid. It was emphasized
in the morning session, "What
we do with money" is "What we
do with ourselves". Money is
a pair of legs, taking us where•
we could never go. Money is a
pair of hands performing minis-
teries our hands could never'
perform. Money is a voice that
can speak in many languages
where our voice dohld not be
heard. In this manner we can
reach out ,to give to others,
other gifts, joined with ours
make possible the varied minis-
teries of the church in all the
world.
In the afternoon sitting, the
speakers dwelt on this years
United Church theme, "Live,
Love". We must be aware of
Miss Julia Blanchard, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon '
Blanchard of Winthrop has
recently passed her Registered
Nursing Assistants Course 'at
the South Huron Hospital in
Exeter. She was a student of
No. 10 McKillop and S.D.H.S.
She is on the. staff of - the Peel,
Memorial 'Hospital in Brampton.

their meeting and Mrs. F, Sills

apples. Jane Sills and Eleanor
Devereaux made grapefruit in
lime jelly using the grapelfruit
that Mrs,. Sills demonstrated how
to cut. •
Nancy Devereaux thanked
Mrs. Sills for the use 'of her home.

home of. Debby McPherson ,on
