John Neelands, high treasurer, on
the endowment fund account, bad re-
ceived $75,277 0.8; interest on deposits
.•$3,634 48, which, with $01G,94 trans..,
ferred froin the endowment expense
account and a balauce of $80,285.51
on hand last year, made a grand total
of $159,814. Claims to the amount of
$51,800 had been paid, and the bal-
ance on hand, $108,014, was deposit-
ed in various financial concerns, The
receipts of the general 'fend were. $13.,
'•921 93, and expenditure, $12,133 54;
balance ouhand, $1,78$.75.
Dr Stanley, chairman of the Medi-
cal -Board, reported that 3,273 appli-
•cations had been made, 741 ever any
iprevious year. Of this number 3,013
•were accepted and 255 rejected. The
•deaths numbered 52. • Dr J. S. Gray,
Winnipeg, was commended for this
work as medical referee for the North-
west. He had examined 581, accept;
'ed 532, rejected 49.

tday it was decided that a district high

weather. Mr P W Scott got a severe
blow from a, foot ball, on the Hand,
while playing at the picnic„ which will
lay him off work for a time. We were
sorry to see such a poor attendance of
the members of the society. We sup-
pose they got their wish regarding the
wet weather.
