Clinton. 'They were accompanied by Santa Claus. A group of musicians, known as the Pickin Strings, led by Sergeant Doug Bowser provided lively selections for the enjoyment of ,,the residents of Huronview. In addition, the combined choirs of ,,the Roman Catholic and Protes- tant Chapels of the Base sang a number of traditional Christ- mas • carols. The' CFB Clinton Women's Auxiliary served a delicious lunch to the residents of Huronview. She was the former Della Eva , Harrison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Harrison and was born in Goderich Township. She attended school- in Goderich Township and later the Goderich Collegiate. Following her 'mar- riage she resided in Stanley Township retiring to Seaforth in 1946.
