lowe'en being on a Thursday, a
party is planned in the afternoon
which will replace the regular
"Family Night" Program. On the
first week of November the "Fam-
ily Night" program is being held on
Wednesday, November 6th at 7
p.m.

Word was received here on
Tuesday by Mr. and Mrs. Ben
McClenaghan that Bill Parker of
Lucan, their son-in-law, had a
massive coronary and was in
University Hospital, London.
Mr. and Mrs. Melvin McClenag-
han of Waterloo were callers on
Sunday at University Hospital on
Mrs. Bill Parker and visited with
Mr. and Mrs. Ben McClenaghan
and Mr. and Mrs. Carl McClenag-
han.
FATHER PASSES
The community extends to Ray-
mond Des Roches, Mrs. Des
Roches and family their sincere
sympathy in the sudden passing
from a heart attack last Wednesday
of his father Lucien Des .Roches of
Penetang. He leaves to mourn his
wife and family. The funeral was
held on Saturday. Mr/ and Mrs.
Des Roches and family returned
home on Sunday.
On . Friday Mrs. Velma Falconer
of Culross; Mrs. James Mclnn es,
Mrs. Georgie Wellwood, Wing -
ham; Mrs. Wesley Tiffin and Mrs.
Robert Mowbray of Whitechurch,
visited with Mr. and Mrs. Elgin
Wellwood of Orangeville.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Evans on
Sunday were at Hyde Park, where
they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Eric
Evans and their grandson Allan,
who on Saturday returned home
from St. Joseph's Hospital where
he had surgery.
Visitors on Sunday with Mr. and
Mrs. Wesley Tiffin were Mr. and
Mrs. Bob Stewart of Langside.
Mrs. Hugh McMillan of Watford
and her mother Mrs. George Tiffin
of Lucknow.
Mr. and Mrs. Angus Falconer
and Kevin were Sunday visitors at
Strathroy.
Frank Pattison has 'sold his farm
and intends holding a sale on
November 14.
Mrs. Ronald Jamieson was able
to return home .from University
Hospital last Wednesday and her
mother Mrs. McGowan, who had
been assisting at the home in her
absence, returned to her home in
London.
Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Conn
spent. Saturday in London.
Communion Services were con-
ducted on Sunday in the United
Church in charge of Rev. Le Drew.
Mrs. Rae Lewis took her grand-
mother Mrs. Caslick over to her
home for Sunday afternoon.
Congratulations to Herb Hunter
who graduated on Saturday at
Convocation Hall.

Curran of West Wawanosh.

Lucknow were Thursday visitors
with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson.
On Monday, of this week the
pupils of Grade 10, 12 and 13
History class of Wingham High
School will go on a tour to Ottawa.
Sonie from this vicinity will be on
the tour.
Communion services were held
at Chalmers Presbyterian Church
with Rev. G. Noble in charge. Mr.
Beverley Kay was in charge of the
services at Lucknow Presbyterian
Church.

Livonia Michigan spent the week
end with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tiffin.

the many beautiful slides taken on
her European tour this summer.

on Thursday.

week end with their parents Mr.

November after soccer is over.
