R. 3 Wingham, were in a car which struck the back of a car which had slowed down for a truck which was " turning off Highway 86 between Wingham and Whitechurch on October 11. Miss Emberlin and Mr. Farrish were brought to hosptal by ambulance, where Mr. Farrish was treated for a fractured right clavicle and both patients were released. Investig- ated by Wingham O.P.P. R. 3 Wingham was making a left hand turn off Highway 86 just East of White- church, when he was struck by another car October 11. Mr. Stacey and his wife Elizabeth were brought to hospital by ambulance for treatment of minor abrasions. Mr. Stacey was released, however Mrs. Stacey was admitted for further observation. Investigated by Goderich O.P.P. Richard McBurney. R. R. 5 Wingham. lost control of the car he was driving on Concession 6, East Wawanush. Following treatment for an injured right arm and abrasions to face,he was released. investigated by Wingham O.P.P. Jamieson. Kenneth Dore, R. R. 3 Holyrood. and his brother were playing with a pellet gun which accidently dis- charged and Kenneth. suffered injuries to his right eye. He was Iadmitted . to hospital and his condition is satisfactory. Investig- ated by Kincardine O.P.P. Spruce. Judges Workshop In. Owen Sound A workshop and review day for District 10 Fair judges was held in Owen Sound on Monday from 9 . ami_ to 4 p.m. Several from this area attended and 'enjoyed the day. The morning was taken up with learning new ideas on judging and exhibiting baked goods. Bread. buns. muffins, biscuits, cakes. pies h and tarts were all judged_ Reasons given for placing each exhibit as it was and quessions answered by qualified judges in each section: New ideas and even recipes were exchanged. Much more was talked ,over during the lunch hour. The afternoon•session was spent learning about the new crafts and how to exhibit and judge them. Many discussions took place as to Arts and Crafts. Two representatives from the Ontario Association spoke .briefly and congratulated ,District 10 on the Judging Schools that have been held and the fact that over 80 ladies from the 21 Fairs in District 10 would attend such a workshop. Mrs.. Eldred Ried, lady represen- tative. chaired the program and with the assistance of Mrs. Wm.
