When the business man increas-
es his prices because of increased
cost of operation, And you join in
the "rip off" cry which we hear
from consumers groups at • all
levels, chew on this one for awhile.
Last December we purchased a
case of large garbage bags,
through a wholesaler with whom
we deal, and the price was $18.60
for 250 bags. These bags are used
around the office in an attempt to
keep the place in a condition where
we can continue to operate from
week to week, a necessary part of
the maintenance program. Last
week we purchased another case
and swallowed a few times when
we checked the invoice, $53.56 for
the same 250 bags, wholesale price
of course, not retail.
