Tho News says: Farmers in the
eurrou,ic1ing country should beware
of patronizing distant Innd agents, who
offer to sell their farms. We under-
standone has been doing this neighbor-
hood, and has roped in quite a few.
Ue•gets an agreement binding the
farmers for three or four years, and if
sold either by the agency or privately
t by the fanner himself, he still has to
pay commission of 21• per cent. As
this agreement is always registered
the farmer is bound hard and feet for
the commission, even if the agent hacl
nothing to do with the sale. This is
a very unreasonable arrangement and
farmers should be on the alert.
