This community extends sym-
pathy to Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth
Pewtress in the sudden passing of
her brother of Oakville on Septeni-
ber 20 at the Oakville Hospital
where he had been for a few days.
Mrs. Gregory and her late husband
had purchased the home of Mrs.
,George Thompson who has moved
to Wingham. The folks of the
village were looking forward to
meeting the Gregorys.
Mr. and Mrs, Victor Emerson
and Mrs. Robert Ross spent
Thursday in Mount Forest.

ed the Fowl Supper at Belgrave on
Wednesflay evening.
Sympathy is extended to Mr. and
Mrs. Bill Evans who this week
received word . from his brother
John Evans of England that' his
wife had passed away suddenly.
Many will recall when Mr. and
Mrs. John Evans visited here a few
years- ago.

Ripley visited on Friday with her
sister Mrs. Earl Caslick.

Thankoffering meeting on October
16 at 2.30 in the chtirch Sunday
