Little Current, Manitoulin Island,
visited this week with their son and
daughter-in-law Mt. and Mrs. Jim
Morrison of Lucknow. They
crossed from the island to Tober7
mory on the, new ferry Chi-Chee-
maun. Crossing time is I 1/2 hours
and Tom reports a smooth ride with
no holdups.
Mrs. Jack McKim of Lucknow
attended a Commissioners' Train-
ing at °Well Sound this .past week
end. Mrs. .M.eKitn is District
Commissioner for Maitee District
of the Girl Guides.
Mrs. Con Hogan and daughter

Thompson attended a week end
Girl Guide Patrol Leader training
camp near Owen Sound on Friday
night and Saturday: , Sandra
attended as a leader, and the other
girls are patrol leaders with the
Lucknow Girl Guide, Company.
Mrs. Howard Strapp of Mississ-
auga, in renewing. her Sentinel
subscription, states, —the paper is
quite late in arriving. The post
office is very tardy at times.

We had ,a beautiful day for our
Fair. Some of Our class did not go
in the parade. but sunny. skies
'made it a very pleasant day. We
did our best in our displays and
some of us enjoyed the dance we
did, even though we had only
begun to practise. on Monday.
We hope all the parents will
come out on Parent -Teacher -Night.
We hope Linda Roe will he back
• with us soon. She has been home
• sick for several ,days.

Our class marched in the fall' fair
on September 28. Some of us did
the Mexican Hat P3I1Ce in front of
'the Grand Stand. Patrick Massi-
cotte has his birthday on October 3,
He,will be six.
