Hydro to suspend the plans oto build a. , nuclear generating plant in Huron county. However, in the light that it is only a suspension, it recom- mends further that all 18 •particip- ating. #rganiza-tions continue with fact finding about the effects a power plant of any, type will have on Huron County. The sub -com- mittee feels that if and when the suspension is lifted all pertinent facts should be readily available. Murray was a guest in the home of Mario LeBreton. The group re- turned to London, Ontario from Moncton N.B. by air, SWEEP Work. Crews Are Busy a The three labour crews working for the. Maitland Valley Conservation Authority through Project SWEEP are active in both 'Authority work projects and muni- cipal work this summer. The crews began their work on .June 24, and will be completing a predetermined work program until August 30. Gorrie, Brussels, and the Wawa - nosh Valley act as the three cen- tral locations from which the Stu- dents Working in an Environmental 'Enhancement Program operatf within the Maitland River water- shed, Foreman Blake Ferguson over- seas his Gorrie area crew, consist- ing of Janet de Boer of Bluevale , Anne Welwood of Wingham, Sandra Currie of Wingham, Rick Earl of Ethel and Clark Galbraith of Gorrie.. Gary Kaulback is responsible for the, Brussels area crew who are Candace Kidd of Atwood, Nancy Danbrook of Atwood, John Elliott of Brussels, Frank. Exel of Brussels and Les Henderson of Atwood.
