Died In Hamilton'
VICTOR WHITLEY
John Victor Whitley of 32 Grove
Street, Hamilton passed away on
Wednesday, June 19 in Hamilton
General Hospital. He was 88.
He was born at Dungannon on,
May 12, 1886 , ' where he farmed
for a number of years before mov-
ing to Hamilton.
Mr. Whitley is survived by his
wife, the former Lillian Nixon
whotn he, married on January 31,
4 1914; one son and two daughters,
Marvin Whitley and Mrs; A. (Ella)
Gushue, both of Hamilton and.
Mrs. A • (Harriet) McGregor of 'Ed'-
monton, Alberta; 14 grandchild-
ren, 12 great grandchildren and
one sister Mrs. Stuart Finlay of
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan:
He was predeceased by one - son
Edwin at age 36.
The funeral service was held
at MacKenzie Memorial
Chapel, Lucknow, on Saturday,
June 22. Rev. George Garratt of
Lucknow Anglican Church was
minister.
Pallbearers were five grandchild
ren, Lloyd, Danny, Teddy and
Allan ' Whitley, Randy Ford, and.
Harold Gardner.
Interment was in Greenhill
Cemetery.
