Leroy Rintoul of King was at
Mount Forest from Thursday to
the weekend attending the Charo-
lais cattle sale. Mrs. Rintoul
arrived on Friday to attend the
sale and Carol, Kimberley and
Debbie spent the 'week end with
their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Gordon Rintoul. and Mr. and Mrs.
Stanley Black of Belgrave. All
returned home to King on Sunday.
Callers on Sunday at the home
of Mrs. Tom Inglis, Tom and
Betty were Mr. and Mrs. John Col-
vin of Teeswater and Victor Em-
erson.
We are pleased to report that
Alex Inglis of Westminster Hospit-
al, London was able to spend from
Friday to Monday at his home
here and return on Monday to the
hospital for treatment.
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Tiffin were.
at Victoria Hospital, London on
Sunday, where they visited with
his mother Mrs. Orville' Tiffin.`

• The June meeting of Kairhsea
Women's Institute took the form
of a pot -luck noon luncheon at
12.30 p.m. Thursday, June 20th.
Mrs. Ira Dickie was hostess, held
in the Kairishea Hall. After a
delicious meal the regular meet-
ing was held, opening in the usual
way with the Opening Ode and
Mary Stewart Collect.
The 1st vice President , Mrs..
Cliff Roulston, presided. The
roll call was an Exchange of Gifts.
Each member presented her Sun-
shine Sister for the past year with
a gift. Names were again drawn
for another year. The scripture
lesson was read by Mrs. Harold
Campbell.
The fall course for the 4-H
clubs is "The Club Girl Entertains;
training school to be in Ripley
August 17 and 19 and Mrs. Wm.
Haldenby to be a leader.
Kairshea members are helping at
a booth at the reunion on Satur-
day, June 29th. • ,Mr's. Clarence
Ritchie gave a report of a Confer-
ence held in May in Waterloo.
fhe members sang "Darling Nellie
Gray" and "Smile" accompanied
by pianist Mrs. Leonard Clark.
Report of the District Annual was
given by Mrs. Bob Gilchrist.
Members were reminded of a Pion-
eer Craft Display. to be held in
Southampton July 2, 4, 9 and 11.
Mrs_, Clarence Ritchie gaven an
amusing reading - Do it yourself
project, entitled "The Dog House",
also a reading by Mrs. Harold
Campbell "What is a Friend";
courtesy remarks were given and
the meeting closed by singing 0
Canada.
The Judy meeting is expected to
be held on the regular day July
18th. A bus trip is being planned.

Lloyd Graham were Kenny Ritchie,'
Sherri Jerome and Greg Hackett,
who visited the Science Centre
in Toronto on Friday of last week.

family had a visit from her sisters

Miss Lorraine Hamilton of Luck-
now , 'Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Cook, Ron-
ald and Darren of Ripley and Mr.
and Mrs. Peter Steer, Tracy and
Heather of London visited their
brother Mr. and Ivirs. Lorne Cook
and family, Sunday afternoon.

week end were her
nephew and niece, Dennis and
Susan Hanna and Bev Harriston of
London. -
