Mr. and Mrs. Barry Ronald
Gardner are residing in . Wing-
ham following their marriage at
four o'clock Saturday, May 4, 'in
St. Peter's' Anglican, Church,
Lucknow. Rey. George Garratt of
Lucknow officiated at the cere-
mony which was performed amid
a setting of yellow, White and
melon flowers arranged
decoratively in baskets.
Mrs. Ann, Pritchard of Luck-

Congratulations to Miss Marg-
aret Simpson who graduated from
Freeport Training Centre, at Kit-
chener as a Registered Nursing
Assistant on May 24th. ThoSe in
attendance at, the graduation were
her parents • Mr: and Mrs. Robert
Simpson, her sisters Jan and
Cathy; Mrs. Florence MadKen-
zie, Mrs. Marjorie Farrish of Ash-
field and Glenn 'Ferguson of
Delhi.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Farrish visit-
ed recently with their daughters
Betty Anne and Harry. SawChuk of
Fonthill and Deanna and Vincent
with Victorian neckline. Rows of
tiny imported datsies adorned 'a
narrow bib front and bishop
sleeves of sheer crystalette. A
Juliet cap held her long cathedral
train which was trimmed with
matching daisies, She carried a
bouquet of white shasta daisies
with. yellow velvet ribbon.
The bride's friend, Miss Susan
Hall of Luoknow, was maid of
honor. She wore a floor-length
peasant style gown of yellow
flocked organza with white and
yellow daisy trim. She wore a
wide-brimmed white hat with
matching trim and carried a
round bouquet of yellow daisies.
In similar • attire were the
bridesMaids, Mrs. Brenda
Schiestel, sister of the bride, cf
Wingham; Miss Janet Thomp-
son, cousin of ,the bride, orKit-
Chener; friends of the bride, Miss
PaM Agnew of Lucknow and Miss
Brenda Stapleton of Wingham.
Flower girls were Joelle
Reavie and Nicole Reavie, nieces
of the bride, of Wingham. They
were dressed alike in gowns simi-
lar in style to those of the senior
attendants but in melon polyester
crepe trimmed with orange
velvet ribbon. They carried
baskets of yellow and white
daisies.
Rick Gardner of Kitchener was
..his brother's nest man and guests
were ushered by Rick Jardine,
the bride's brother, of Lucknow,
Les •Thompson, Owen Curtis and
Bill• Metcalfe all of Wingham.
Paul Robinson of Wingham was
ring bearer. The groom and all
his male attendants chose brown
tuxedos with brown velvet lapels
and bow ties, melon ruffled shirts
and white boutonnieres.
A reception followed at the
Lucknow Legion Hall where
guests were received by mothers
of the bridal couple. The bride's
mother wore a floor-length gown
'of deep pink polyester crepe with
long-sleeved matching jacket,
navy accessories and a corsage
of pink carnations. 'The groom's
mother chose a floor-length gown
featUring a brown polyester skirt
and figured top. Her accessories
were gold and she wore a corsage
of yellow mums.
For travelling, the bride chose
a short beige and red dress with
elasticized top. Her accessories
were brown and she wore a red
carnation corsage.
The bride is employed at the
Toronto-Dominion Bank in Wing-
ham and the groom is employed
by Davidson Well Drilling.
Prior'. to her marriage, . the
bride was honored at showers
hosted by Brenda Stapleton of
Wingham, Susan Hall and Mrs.
Jean Jardine of Lucknow, and
Mrs. Morris Swanson of Wing-
ham.
Guests attended the wedding
from Brantford, Woodstock, Neu-
stadt, Chatham, Owen Sound,
Sudbury, Kitchener, St. Clair
ShOres, Sarnia, Hamilton,
Elmira, Ailsa Craig, Heidelberg,
Guelph, Toronto, Brussels,
Goderich, Wingham and Luck-
now.
Thibideau of Windsor.
Duncan Allan, who arrived at
Shannon, Ireland two weeks ago,
was heard from by the Simpson
families and was in England at
time of writing. He /was then
going to visit Scotland. Duncan
is expected home on Wednesday,
where he will be met at
Stratford airport by Mr. and Mrs.
Donald Simpson.

Mr. and Mrs. Ken 'Jardine of
