Emma Rivett introduced Mrs: Marion Zinn to the group, who in turn showed pictures and gave a commentary on her trip to Cali- fornia. 'These pictures were well presented and educational. Marion's comments were most intr :eresting. Courtesy remarks were Made by Dorothy Pentland as Marion was presented with a gift. GET-ACQUAINTED PARTY On Thursday. afternoon Mrs. Frank Maulden held ,a get-acquain- ted party at her home for Mrs. Roy Shaw arid Mrs. •Bill Shaw and 'daughter Wendy, who are new neighbours, having moved to the Sutton farm known to most people as the Malcorm (Braeside) farm. Mrs. Maulden was assisted by Mrs. Bill Burt and Mrs. Don Bushell. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Currie of Waterloo accompanied by Mrs. Gertrude Walsh „and Mrs. Ben Scott spent a few. days with relatives in Michigan.. . Mr. and Mrs. Morley Bushell, of Wingham, Mrs. Bob Brooks and Bradley of Listowel visited with' Mrs. John Barr. while Mrs. Gertrude Walsh, • Mrs. Ben Scott' and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Currie were in Michigan they visited With the former's sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Bert Guideback and with their niece Mr. and Mrs. Robert Graham of Plainwell. They also went on a sightseeing tour to Holland, Michi- gan. Mrs. Agnes Hodgins went on a most enjoyable bus trip to. Ottawa over last-week end. The Anglican Services next Sunday, June 2nd will be at Rip- ley , Bervie and Lucknow. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Scott visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scott at Ripley. Donald Barr of Waterloo spent the week end with Mrs. John Barr. Visiting last week with Mr. and Mrs. Chris Shelton were their great nephews Johnny and Bobby McConnel of Vancouver, B.C.
