Frank Maulden held ,a get-acquain-
ted party at her home for Mrs.
Roy Shaw arid Mrs. •Bill Shaw and
'daughter Wendy, who are new
neighbours, having moved to the
Sutton farm known to most people
as the Malcorm (Braeside) farm.
Mrs. Maulden was assisted by Mrs.
Bill Burt and Mrs. Don Bushell.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Currie of
Waterloo accompanied by Mrs.
Gertrude Walsh „and Mrs. Ben
Scott spent a few. days with
relatives in Michigan.. .
Mr. and Mrs. Morley Bushell, of
Wingham, Mrs. Bob Brooks and
Bradley of Listowel visited with'

Mrs. Agnes Hodgins went on a
most enjoyable bus trip to. Ottawa
over last-week end.

ley , Bervie and Lucknow.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Scott visited
on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Scott at Ripley.
Donald Barr of Waterloo spent
the week end with Mrs. John Barr.
Visiting last week with Mr. and
Mrs. Chris Shelton were their
great nephews Johnny and Bobby
McConnel of Vancouver, B.C.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
to all persons in possession of lands in any
Municipality in the County of Huron.
In accordance with the Revised Weed Control
Act,1972, Section 4, 14 and 20 and amendments
thereto, that unless noxious weeds growing on
their lands are destroyed by June 15,' 1974 and
throughout the ,season, the Municipality. may
enter upon the said lands and have the weeds
destroyed, charging the costs against the ,land
in taxes, as set out in the Act.
The co-operation of all citizens is solicited.

sing song, and a prayer. "How
to grow' old gracefully" was read
by Ruby McClenaghan and enjoyed
by' everyone.'
During social hour several
guests expressed their appreciation
for a delightful evening. Tea was
convened by Donna Young and
her committee. Mizpah benedic-
tion closed the evening's activit-
ies.
