The death of Perry Nelson Hod- gins of Kinlough occurred at Kin- cardine Hospital on Wednesday, May 1st. He farmed most of his life at Westford and in November , 1963 retired to Kinlough. On Nov- ember 11, 1939 at South Kinloss he married Hazel Percy. Mrs. Hodgins passed away in February 1971. He is survived by one daughter Mrs. Robert (Sharon) Brooks of Listowel; two grandsons Bevin and Bradley Brooks. Besides his, wife "he was predec- eased by,two brothers Wellington and Arthur and one sister Mrs. Ed (Ethel) James. The funeral service was held at MacKenzie Memorial Chapel, Lucknow on Saturday,' May 4th. Rev. Robert Armstrong of Wing- ham was minister. Interment was in Greenhill „ Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill. Percy, Elmer James, Frank Thompson, Jack' Hoclgins, Eddy Thompson, George Hetherington. Flower bearers were Wally Breck- les , Fred. They wore identical floor length gowns 'of pink flowered polyester sheer , trimmed with a shocking pink velvet ribbon at the empire; waistline and carried bouquets of white shasta daisies and pinkmums. They wore matching shasta daisies in their hair. Krista Collinson, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. 'Her dress was identical to the bridesmaids' arid she carried a basket of shasta daisies and pink mums. Groomsman was Robert Hollo- way of London, 'brother of the groom. Ushers were Fred Manzara of London, Dave La Hive of Lon • - don, both friends of the groom, and Ron Hogan of Deep River, brother of the bride. Robert Collinson, cousin, of the bride, was the ringbearer. . A reception followed at the Lucknow Legion-Hall. The• bride's mother wore a flook length gown of mint green polyester satin, white accessories and a.-corsage of yellow roses. The groom's mother wore a floor length gown of coral polyester crepe, white roses. accessoriesv and a corsage of white For traVelling the bride chose •a . long halter dress of pink flowered polyester satin with a matching short jacket, white accessories and white mum corsage. Following their wedding trip to' Florida the couple will reside in Stratford. Guests' were present from Toron- to, London, Kitchener George- town , Oshawa , Lucknow Goder- ich. Prior to the wedding bridal showers were held in London and Kingsbridge.
