A community and relatiVe show-
er was held for Heather Park on
Tuesday evening in the United
Church Sunday School rooms. Mrs.
Joyce Caesar was chairman for a
short prOgram consisting of a vocal
solo by Nancy Errington with her
own piano accompaniment; duet
by Donna Sue Errington and Marsha
Alton with their guitars. 'Annette
Hodges played the bridal chorus,
at which time Heather was escort-
ed i t° a prettily decorated centre
by Mrs. Sue Brown, Mrs. Linda
Durnin, and Mrs. Sharon Dawson.
'An address including a shower
poem composed by Beth IvIcCon-
nell was read to Heather, then
Glenda Park and Jacqueline Daw-
son carried in baskets of gifts.
Mrs. Diane Park ,arranged these,
on display. Heather expressed her
thanks to all for the lovely gifts.
and invited them to come to a
trousseau tea being given by her
mother on WedneSday , May 15th.
A very lovely lunch was enjoyed,
and best, wishes expressed.

al days this week. "Uncle Gene"
asked for his many friends in this
community. He will" be 89 years,
of age May 26 and regrets not
being able to make his annual trip
home in May.

Mrs. Harvey Alton returned
home 'from Victoria Hospital in
London on Wednesday. Robert
SherWoOd was released from Wing-
ham General Hospital and return-
ed to Sarnia on Thursday. Last
Monday Mrs. .Roderick McDon-
ald Was able to return to her own
home from Wingham Hospital.
