Holyrciod Hall was nicely decor-
.ated in pink and white for a. bridal
shower for Miss Elaine Schumach -
er. on Wednesday evening. Mrs.
David Ross was in the chair and
welcomed everyone and Miss Edna
Boyle was at the piano for a sing
song. Mrs. Ernie Hanna conduct-
ed contests. Mrs.. William Mac-
Pherson and Mrs. Fred Page sang
two wedding duets. Caryn Nicol-
son did some,baton twirling. Lois
Hanna and Lynne Nicolson -
sang two,songs accompanied by
Miss Jeannette Barr. '
Mrs. P. A. Murray gave a read-
ing of advice to the bride.
To the strains of the Wedding
March, the bridal party took their
places and Mrs. David Ross read
an address and 'Margo Ross present-
ed the gifts which were later
arranged by Debbie Haldenby. ,
Elaine thanked everyone and
all joined in singing "For She's a
Jolly Good Fellow". Lunch was
served and a social Chat Was en-
joyed by all.
Magylou McClenaghan and her
friend Bill Kleinhaar, all of St.
Thomas. ".
Congratulation's to Mr. and Mrs.
Percy McClenaghan of Clinton on
the arrival on Friday, May 10th,
1974 at Kitchener Hospital, twin
boys, brothers for Gavin.

spent the week end with her son

on Sunday attended the baptism

their granddaughter Heather Lynn,

ham are enjoying a holiday trip
that will take them to Russia.

newlyweds are visiting at the Fin-
layson home at Lochalsh and
will be the guests.of honor at a
reception in Ripley on the evening
Of May 24th.

end, after having been quite ill —
for several days and ,hospitalized
in Kincardine Hospital.

Brownies started their meeting
with a Skipping and Balancing
game.,
After Fairy Queen Sandra Camp-
bell placed'. the Toadstool, we
haCI Brownie Ring. The,Brownies
hopped their Brownie Gold and
inspection was for a complete uni-
form. Everyone then repeated .
the Brownie Prayer.
At work periodPill the. Brownies
made a recipe holder for their
Mother, as a gift for Mother's
Day,, Tests passed during the
meeting. were Rosalea Cameron
and Rosemary' Gilmore for skipping
backwards. Tracey McDonagh
sewed on two kinds of buttons,
