Friday evening May 3rd when neighbours and' friends gathered to honour Mrs. Thos. Metcalfe and Mrs. Russell McGuire prior to their departure to homes in Wingham and Kitchener. 'Games and con- tests were conducted by Miss Mary Hehn and Mrs. McKague. The honoured guests, Mrs. Met= . calfe and Mrs. McGuire were pres- ented with jewel boxes, vanity -tray and set of towels for their new homes. Both thanked the lad- ies for their kindness in remember-•, ing them in this way and for the lovely gifts. The evening conclud ed with a delightful smorgasbord.
