The Brownies held their meet-
ing on Tuesday, April 30th with
eleven present and five absent.
Annita Damsma was Fairy
Queen and she placed the Toad-
stool for Brownie Ring. The
Brownies collected their .Brownie
Gold and wTawny Owl did inspec-
tion. AU the Biownies were re-
minded that they should try and
wear browirknee socks with
they uniform.
Dicing the meeting Mrs. Edith
Webster tested for interest badges.
Brownies passing these tests were
Mine Hamilton, the Canada
Badge; Tracey McDonagh, Toy-
maker and Collector Badge; Shar-
on Struthers, Toymaker and 'Craft
Badge.
At work period Brov.o'n Owl had
some of the Brownies for rules of
:ourtesy. Snowy Owl went over
the facts about our flag of Canada
with the Golden Bar Brownies./
Mrs. Bruce Hamilton 'came
for Pow Wow to tell the Pack
about, Cookie Day on Saturday,
May 4th. The Brownies were ask.
ed to try and bring a small sit-
upon that could be used for out-
side meetings as well as at our
regular meetings. Each Brownie
got a letter to take home telling
about our Mother and Daughter
Banquet 'May 9th.
The meeting was brought to a
close with the squeeze and Mrs.
Hamilton played Taps for us.

well given by Mrs. Gordon Kerr.
The topic in charge of Mrs.
Hugh McWhinney ,was on "Social
Work, and Aid to . Children" given
by 'Mr. Pat Shanahan of Goder'ich
who was guest speaker. .Dona-
dons to the Cancer Society in our
area amounted to $200.
Mrs. W. A. Stewart invited the
committee for arranging next
year's program to meet on, Mon-
day afternoon at her home. Two
new members were welcomed as
W. I. members. Delegates' were
chosen to attend the District
Annual at Belgrave on Monday,
May 27. An invitation was re-
ceived to attend Tiger-Dunlop
W.I. at Carlow on May 22 at
2.00 o'clock.
Courtesies were given, and the
meeting closed, followed by lunch
served by hostesses, Mrs. H. Mc-
Whinney , Mrs. G. Kerr and Mrs.
Elmer Black.;
