He was a native of Scotland and had been living at Point Clark quite recently. Mr. Peebles, who was alone in his car was thrown from the .be- hicle as it travelled south on Lake- shore Road, five miles south of Kincardine. An employee of Ontario Hydro at Douglas Point, Mr; Peebles was pronounced dead at the scene. He is survived by his wife and, two ,sons. Died In 73rd Year - Perry Nelson Hodgins 'of Culross Township passed away in Kincar-t dine General Hospital on Wednes- day , May 1st , in his 73rd year.. The funeral service was held at MacKenzie Memorial Chapel, Lucknow on Saturday, May 4th. ,Interment was in Greenhill Cemetery. $114,209 Gross At Stocker Sale The spring stocker cattle sale at the Lucknow Community Sale on Monday grossed $114,209. 457 cattle went through the auction ring. R. 3 Lucknow , to Mr. Thompson, Kippen, at 51.25, Fatality And Serious Injury In' Weekend Accident Joseph Young , 34, Scarborough , was killed and seven persons were injured in a two-car crash Sun- day morning on the 2nd concession Bruce Township, near Kincardine. In critical condition in Univer- sity Hospital, London, is James Lizniore, 17, R. R. 4, Kincardine. He has a punctured lung and frac- tured ribs and pelvis. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Lizmore of Bervie. In satisfactory condition in Kin.- cardine and District Hospital are Harmen Koldenhop, 51,-Scarbor- ough, Bruce W.
