An organized drive for members was started with the objective of at least 200. In this drive four teams were competing. Local Lady's Father Passes The death of Elmer Moffat of • Glammis occurred suddenly in Kincardine on Wednesday, April 24th., He was 77. • The funeral service was at Pais- ley on Saturday, Apri1,27th. Mr. Moffat is survived by his wife, one daughter Mrs. George' McInnes of Lucknow and one son Russell of Owen Sound. T5 Take First Holy Communion KINGSBRIDGE NEWS .On Sunday, April 28th ,.fifteen boys and girls Made their First Holy Communion at St. Joseph's Church with Rev. Fr., Ed Dentinger officiating. Following the. Mass, a luncheon was served for first communicants, parents, relatives and close friends in the Parish Hall by members of the C:W:L. Receiving their first commun - ion were: Michael Austin (Eldon), Ronnie Delbergue (Ron), Shawn ' Doherty (Frank),, Shannon Durnin (Mike Daltog), Shawn Durnin (Ron), Betty Jane Foran (John), Casey Hendricks (Martin),. RETURNED FROM HOLLAND' Mrs. Martin Hendricks returned. home from Holla.nd, Monday, April 29th after visiting with her family for two and a half weeks. Treat Injuries At Hospital Miss Jennine Finlayson, age 2, Teeswater , received painful 1st and .2nd degree burns to her right arm on April 22. She was • treated and later released, Lyle Brinley, Clifford , was treated, fort a fractured right ankle received while at work in Gorrie. Blaine Morningstar, age 12, Lucknow, fell off his bicycle and fractured his left knee cap and received abrasions to both knees. Mrs. Elizabeth Stobo, K. R. 2 Teeswater, amputated the distal portion of her fourth right finger When she caught her hand in the tongue of a farm wagon. • Teery Daer, , age 4, was treated for a cut on the forehead. Joan Johnston sprained her right'. ankle while high jumping at school. Pamela Barfoot, age 3, R. R. 4 Wingham, was x-rayed for an injury a, her face received when she fell off, a chair. Wroxeter received painful injur- ies to 'his right hand while shov- ing a litter carrier on the farm'. Mrs'. Elizabeth Breathier, R. R. 2 Tiverton , 'received a 'fractured left.upPer leg April 27 when the horse she Was riding reared and fellon.her. This happened ,on the 12th concession of Ashfield • Equestrian Centre. She was given emergency treatment and trans- ferred . • via ambulance to Owen . Sound Marine and General HOspit= al. , Calvin Salters , age .6 , R. R. 2 Bluevale, lacerated his forehead playing in .the ,barti at home. Paul Gross, age,•'20.. Blyth, was 'admitted via: ambulance On April' 28. He was riding on a- motor- cycle with Jacobus Wayne Ram- meloo of Blyth and the driver lost control of his motorcycle while rounding the curve on '#4 Highway, approximately 2/10 mile south of Blyth. Wayne Ramrrieloo was dead on arrival at hospital. Paul Gross received multi abrasions to arms, back and legs, shock,. con- dition fair. Investigated by Wing- ham O.P.P. Kenneth Smith,' WinghanT, had a farm dog bite him on the left leg while riding his bicycle. Town police Ron Zimmer investigated. Thomas Gault, R.
