The regnlar meeting of the
LtIcknow Girl Guides was held
April 11th.
The meeting started off with a
new song and dance taught. by
Lieutenant Linda Johnston.
Roll call was taken followed
by Horse-shoe formation; Flag
raising by the Robin. Patrol and 0
Canada.; '
It was announced. that next week
Bud Thompson 'will come to the
meeting to teach map and
Compass.
Captain Barbara Helm and Lieu-
tenant worked with several girls on
their Knots..,
Several girls wrote their,Aquahst
Badge test.
Campfire was held with every-
one contributing. The meeting
was Closed with vespers and taps.

On Tuesday , April 9th the
Brownies held their regular meet-
ing. Shirley Loree met the
mothers of the Tweenies at the
door.
They then had Brownie Ring'
with the Sixeri collecting Brown-
ie Gold. Tawny Owl presented
several interest badges. Sandra
Campbell, Rosalea Cameron and.
Anne Hamilton received their
Craft Badge. Shirley Loree got
her Singer Badge and Elizabeth
Wilkins the Musician Badge.
Snowy Owl read an article about _
Our Toadstool that told about why
we have all parts of it. Browh
Owl then had enrollment for our
Tweenies, Luanne MacLeod and
Minim Damsmai. Everyone then.
gave the two new Brownies the a
Grand Howl followed by Brownie
Prayer,
At work period, the BroWnies
had an Easter craft while Judy
Hunter and Anne Hamilton served
tea and toast, to the mothers.
The meeting was brought to a
close with the Squeeze, Taps and
Brownie arch.

Lucknow. The groom is the son
of Mrs. Doreen Smith; R. R. .1,
Belrnont and the late Harold
Smith.
Given in marriage by her fath-
er , the bride wore an empire-
waisted gown accented by Juliet
cap and lace trimmed 'cathedral
train. She carried a bouquet of
red roses. Maid of: Miss
Kathy Murray R. N: , friend of
the bride , donned a fuschia gown
with white lace vest and carried
a bouquet of pink sweetheart roses
arid/White carnations.
Best man was the groofn's broth-
er Alan.
A reception followed afterward
at the home •of the groom's unc4e.
Guests' attended from Toronto,
London, Goderich, Belmont, St.
Thomas and Lucknow.
The couple•are residing in the
Belmont area Where they are be-
ginning construction' of their new
home. •
