the University of Toronto and has
completed her first year.

With the weather like spring on
Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Dave
Mackenzie of London visited at
their summer cottage at ,Kintail
beach. Colder temperatures and
snow have taken them back to
the city for, at least awhile until
spring temperatures arrive for
good, when they will again open
up their Kintail trailer camp.:

A bridal shower was held at
the home of Mrs. Keith Cranston,
R. R. 2. Lucknow , for bride-elect

Saturday -April 13th.
. A short program was conducted
by Miss *Ruth Ann Kiajaefski.
The gifts were brought to Gail by
Miss Diane Dodkin, cousin of,
the groom. The bride was then
assisted in opening her gifts by
her friend Miss Shirley Robb.
Gail fittingly thanked everyone
for their gifts and invited them to'
come and see her trousseau at
her home.
The evening concluded with
lunch and renewing,pleasant mem-
ories with friends, present from
Montreal, Asbestos , P.Q. , Sarnia
Woodstock, Goderich, Waterloo, •
Chesley, , Dungannon and Lucknow.

Paul Zinn when they accompan-

Sunday's electrical storm. A loud
cracking sound brought sparks
flying into the church and left

We were very pleased to have so
many out in.Ashfield Presbyterian
Church on Sunday. The congreg-

The minister was Mr. Richard San
Sand. He was accompanied by
his mother Mrs. Sand of Richmond
Hill. The chair presented spec-

on her brother Mr. and Mrs. Jack
MacKenzie on Thursday of last
week. Mrs. MacGregor returned
to Copetown and was accompan-

MacKenzie of Lucknow for the
Easter holiday.
