The sixth meeting of. Les Kair-
shea Dapper Dames was held On

which was "What make-up 'you'd
like to try". The secretary read
the minutes. Plans for Achieve-
ment Day were discussed. Mrs.
Clarke discussed "Hair Care" .

Lloyd Murdock will not hah a
service until April 28th, when he
will preach hisifarewell sermon.
On May 4 the movers will arrive
to move the Murdock furniture
to Nova Scotia.
The community were pleased

The Lucknow Women's Institute
held their annual meeting on
April 9th with a pot hick dinner
at twelve o'clock and after din-
ner each lady found their sunshine
sister and got their gifts.
The President, Mrs. A . J.
Wilson, presided and after the
opening exercises called on the
conveners of th'e different com-
mittees and offiCers for their re-
ports and Mrs.,yhilip Stewart gave
a report on the District Directors'
meeting which was held at Tiver-
ton. The short courses were
discussed and the one chosen was
"Institute Workshop".
Mrs. Ray Leddy was nominated
to go to the conference at Water-
loo on. May 1st., The ladies were
pleased to welcome three new
members to the branch, Mrs.
George Kennedy; Mrs. Stewart
MacGilliVray and Mrs. Ross
Shiells.
After the business was complet-
ed the president vacated the chair
and Mrs. Philip St&wart installed
the following slate of officers
which the, resolution committee
had prepared.

The fourth meeting of the
Kingsbridge Kuties was held on
April 9th at 7.00 p.m: at the
home of. Mrs. Betty Frayne. The

and Lucille Frayne read the minut
es of the last meeting. A com-
mittee was elected to be in
charge of the exhibit for Achieve-
ment Day. The meeting was
handed over to the leaders, They
discussed Good Bedroom Storage.
The leaders then helped the girls
with their record books.
The next meeting will be at
7.00 p,m. on April 15th at the
home of Mrs. Antone Van Osch.
Dainty Damsels'
The fifth meeting of the Dun-
gannon Dainty Damsels was
opened with the 4-H Pledge.
We answered the roll call with
("one aid which will improve
storage in My ,bedroom" . The
next, meeting will 'be on April
at 7.30 p. m, at Mrs. Doris
Culbert's.,
The leaders discussed with the,.
members (1) a beautiful complex-
ion (2) good' health habits'and
(3) upkeep and makeup. For the
demonstration, Barbara Desjar -
dins came to the meeting to tell
about •makeup, Irene Hasty and
Lori Pentland were given a facial.
The meeting was adjourned.

After everyone arrived th'e group ,
went to the United Church to hear
the wiarton choir• perform. It was
a variety nittsic concert and was"
much enjoyed by all,
After the performance everyone
went back, to the Presbyterian
Church,where'coffee and squares
were served.
Over coffee a discussion was -
held. A similar 'music concert .
was discussed , having the. Domin-
ion Life Choir from Waterloo
perform. A fashion show was also' I
discussed.
Next meeting is on May 14th.
