Officers The Lucknow Women's Institute held their annual meeting on April 9th with a pot hick dinner at twelve o'clock and after din- ner each lady found their sunshine sister and got their gifts. The President, Mrs. A . J. Wilson, presided and after the opening exercises called on the conveners of th'e different com- mittees and offiCers for their re- ports and Mrs.,yhilip Stewart gave a report on the District Directors' meeting which was held at Tiver- ton. The short courses were discussed and the one chosen was "Institute Workshop". Mrs. Ray Leddy was nominated to go to the conference at Water- loo on. May 1st., The ladies were pleased to welcome three new members to the branch, Mrs. George Kennedy; Mrs. Stewart MacGilliVray and Mrs. Ross Shiells. Dainty Damsels' The fifth meeting of the Dun- gannon Dainty Damsels was opened with the 4-H Pledge. We answered the roll call with ("one aid which will improve storage in My ,bedroom" . It was a variety nittsic concert and was" much enjoyed by all, After the performance everyone went back, to the Presbyterian Church,where'coffee and squares were served. Over coffee a discussion was - held. A similar 'music concert . was discussed , having the. Domin- ion Life Choir from Waterloo perform. A fashion show was also' I discussed.
