The meeting opened with the Ode and the Mary Stewart Collect. Mrs. Lorne Eadie read the minut-. es of/the previous meeting and gave/the financial statement. Communications were read which included a "Thank You" from Brucelea Haven and an announce- ment of their tea on May 1st, and training courses. Mrs. Raynard Ackert gave an Attend Girl Guide Annual Mrs. Evans Helm, Mrs; Brian Johnston Mrs:; Jim Morrison, Mrs. Jack McKim and Mrs. Don Thompson of Lucknow attended the annual meeting of the Silver Birch Area of the Girl ,Guides held Friday night and Saturday at the ValhaIa Inn in Kitchener. Mrs. Harold Greer ., Mrs. David Kirkland and Mrs. Harold Nicholson of Lucknow attended the same meeting on Saturday. Mrs. Angus MacLennan of Goct- erich; fortnerly of Lucknow , also attended the meeting.
