THAT the Lucknow and-Dis'trict Kinsmen Club installed two new road signs last week on the east and westerly outskirts 'of the vil- lage on Highway 86. Kinsmen members Claude Guay and Glenn Porter did the installation. The road signs were given to the club as a Charter gift by the Kinsmen Club of Shelburne. Saturday night, March 30th, Lucknow will host the Lucknow and District Kinette Formation Night. THAT Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Brooks of Lucknow"have returned from a 'Caribbean CrUise during' the wint- er school break. THAT Mr; and Mrs. Irving Reid recently sold their apartment building in Lucknow , the former Gammie Apartments on Ross Street, to Bill Adamson.nf Brus- sels. The Reids have returned to Kincardine to live. THAT Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Glenn of Lucknow have just returned home after a week's holiday in Brownsville, Texas and Mexico City. While there they were guests of Oliver's parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Glenn and Bud. They made the trip by plane. THAT there were 7 tables at the card party, sponsored by Dungan- non L.O.L. last Thursday night. High prizes went to Mrs. Lorne Ivers and Mrs. Jack Errington for the 'ladies and Walter Alton and Art Youngtfor the men. The Lodge will hold another euchre party in two weeks. THAT Mr, and Mrs. Stuart Col - lyer of Lucknow spent the holi- day week in Hawaii. THAT F. E. Madill Secondary School students fromthis area , Pam Agnew , Betty Maize, Ruth Graham, Janine Glenn and ' Linda Hamilton spent the winter break in Malaga , S pain on a school tour.. They had a side trip to Morocco. Will be looking forward to a visit to Lucknow at the time of your re-union" , writes D. G. Stoners of Kitchener. Mac Graham of London, winter- ing in Port Orange , Florida writes "Thanks for the advance notice of a rate raise as there aren't many raises giving that type of consideration these days. Neither Marj nor I feel we want to be without the Sentinel, The efforts of the committees for the Reunion 74 appear to be rewarding, so we wish them con- tinued success. Marj and I hope to be able to be there to enjoy the celebration. Weather is good and fishing, has been quite rewarding so far , hop- ing they both continue."
