vitamins and minerals; all at
a reasonable cost.. Come to. the
"Poultry Please" food forum and
find. out more. Some basic recipes
are included with new ideas and
serving suggestioni to spark your
imagination and creativity.
After two Home Economists
from Toronto have prepared a
variety of poultry and egg dishes,
you will have a chance to taste
the finished products.
This year we, have one food
forum in Bruce County to be
held in the United Church House
in Port Elgin on Tuesday, April
2, at 8:30 p.m.

BRUCE COUNTY SEED FAIR
A large crowd' attended the
Annual meeting , of the Bruce
County Soil and Crop Improve-
ment Association at Formosa last
Tuesday.
Prof. Bob Fulkerson from the
University of Guelph was the
keynote speaker and he empha-
sized the importance of not cut-
ting alfalfa during the greater
part of September. "He also said
that a good cover should be left
on the fields over the, winter to
hold the snow for insulation to
prevent winterkill.
Gerry Patterson from U.C.O.
spoke on the use of formie acid
to preserve grass silage and hay-
lage.
There were over fifty crop
samples entered in the various
classes. The 'hay was the most
popular with about 25 samples of
excellent qtiality. The following
were the ,winners in the various
classes: _

is affiliated with Alliance for
Life. Dr. Heather Morris, a
Jewess and one of Canada's out-
standing women gynecologists, is
president Alliance for Life.
In Canada, other groups besides
Alliance for Life work for the
unborn: Coalition for Life is
made up of political people.
Friends of Hippocrates is a group'
of doctors working for the unborn.
Birthright is an international or-
ganization which is d esigned to
give counselling and practical aid
to any woman married or single
who is pregnant and dim-e-,ed. in
our area there are Birthright offic -
es in Owen Scui., Kitchener,
London and one beinQ formed in
Gcderich.
