After two Home Economists from Toronto have prepared a variety of poultry and egg dishes, you will have a chance to taste the finished products. United Church Hall in Harris- ton on Thursday, April 4, at 8:30 p.m. So come , out and get some ideas Barbara De Visscher, Home Economist BRUCE COUNTY SEED FAIR A large crowd' attended the Annual meeting , of the Bruce County Soil and Crop Improve- ment Association at Formosa last Tuesday. Prof. Bob Fulkerson from the University of Guelph was the keynote speaker and he empha- sized the importance of not cut- ting alfalfa during the greater part of September. "He also said that a good cover should be left on the fields over the, winter to hold the snow for insulation to prevent winterkill. Gerry Patterson from U.C.O. spoke on the use of formie acid to preserve grass silage and hay- lage. There were over fifty crop samples entered in the various classes.
