Eleanor Bradnock of Auburn, Pres-

on Banff, where she attended the
Conference the past year. She
showed interesting and beautiful
slides. Mrs. Moffat thanked the
ladies and presented each with a
gift.
Mrs. Philip Steer rendered a
lovely solo "A Little bit of Heav-
en" accompanied by Mrs. Harvey
Houston. This being the Curator
meeting Mrs. Leonard Maelnnes

Courtesy remarks were given by
Mrs. Lloyd, MacDougall. The
April meeting will be held at the
home of Mrs. Ted Collyer on

Miss Adele Kreling*of Leaming-
ton spent several days during the
holidaysi with Miss Wanda' Wilson
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wal-
lace Wilson. Wanda teaches
ftench to grades 7 and 8 in Kin-
cardine schools.
Miss Sandra Errington frbrn Tor-
onto spent the week end with Mr:
arid Mrs, Jim Errington and
Audrey. Neil Dale of Clinton also
was a guest there.- On her realm
to Toronto on Sunday , Sandra
was accompanied by her couiin,
Brian and Darlene Henderson,
who had been holidaying with
relatives here.
SimOn Logtenberg , son of Mr..
and Mrs.. Derk Logtenberg, was'
admitted t9 Alexandra Marine and
General Hospital with infection
from stepping on a nail. We
wish him a speedy. recovery. For-
tunately Miss Pearl Caldwell was '
able to return home after a brief
stay in Wingham and District_ Hos-
pital. '
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Eedy and
Laurel of Strathroy, visited with
Mrs. H. J. L. Eedy and Thornton
on Saturday. They had Spent
the holiday in the Barbados.

On Wednesday Fred Fowler from
POrt Elgin, also Mr. and Mrs.
Tom Fowler and .children, Darrel
and Karen, from Parkhill visited
Mr. and' Mrs. Chas. Fowler.
Quite a number from here
attended the play, "Everybody's
Crazy" presented at Brookside
Public School on Friday by, the
Lucknow Agricultural Society and
enjoyed this three-act comedy.
Mr. and Mrs. GeOrge`Ribey and
girls, Jane, Anne, and Catharine
from Sea forth visited on 'Sunday
with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wiggins.
Eric Wiggins has been in Van-
couver for about a month, where
his sister:Marion lives. He is
employed in Landscape.Garden-
ing with Ed Warrington.
'Mrs. Wilda Clatsworthy of
drantOn ; and Raymond Taylor of
Welland visited ia;;. Sunday with
their sister Mrs. Ben Park, Mr.
Park and family.
SUFFERED INJURIES TO. EYE
Sixteen year old Doug Park is
in Victoria Hospital, in London
where he underwent an Operation
Wednesday on his left eye which
was injured when cutting a tree
at his home. Mr. and Mrs. Ken
Park and family of Mississauga
visited Doug on Saturday then
came home to-visit Mr. and Mrs.
Ben Park. Doug is improving
favourably. His parents accom-
panied Mr. and Mrs. Larry Park
to London on Sunday.;
Mr ., and Mrs. Kenneth
Campbell returned recently from a
three -week motor trip to Mexico,
which they enjoyed .very much.

Kilpatrick of Luoknow; Mrs. Joe
Courtney and Mrs. pernardine
Kinney of Kingsbridge, and the
latter's brother Albert O'Lough-
lin from Troy, Michigan,
Bert Whyard from Port Stan-
ley called on Mrs. H. J. L.
Eedy and other former friends
on Tuesday.
