house covered with new siding.
Many will be pleased to know
that Alex Verbeek, who is manag-
er at Kincardine Co-op, thiS week
end moved to Kincardine to reside.
They had already sold their home
in Listowel.

The Ripley Atom's "B" team
played the schools Grades six,
seven and eight girl's team last
Friday. Unfortunately , the girls
won. The score was 5 to 3. The
star player for the boys was Larry
Nixon ,and for the girls it was

in Bruce County. All the teachers

to visit with the former's son,

Curries School progressive
euchre 'club held their party on
Friday evening March 1st in the
Assembly room of
Belgrave arena. There were 8
tables in play. The prize win-
ners were high, lady Mrs. Dick
Moore, low lady Mrs. Norman

Mr.. Rabbit hops about ,
Smelling berries with his snout
The' brook laughs merrily inch

While the fish jumps up forim
The poplar trees blow.in the
breeze,
With all the creatures at their
knees,
The , Forest is a quiet place, .
It is opposite to the city pace.
