Miring the, past few weeks can-

the March Of Dimes Ability Fund.
Six hundred and fifty dollars has
been raised through the kind res-
ponse to their calls. This is $95 -
more than was raised last year.

Died Suddenly
At 41 Years
John N. Nicolson , 10th concess-
ion of Kinloss, passed away on
Saturday, February 9. He was 41
years of age. He took suddenly,
ill at home and was removed to
Wingham and District Hospital
where he was pronounted dead.
Mr, Nicolson was born in
Glasgow , Scotland , coming to
Canada some seven years ago. He
was employed at Douglas Point.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Annetta Hughes , three "
daughters Lynne 11, Karyn 8 and
Dawn 6.
The body rested at the MacPher-
son Funeral Home., Teesw,ater
where' funeral service was held on
Tuesday, February 12 at 11.a m
followed by cremation,
Although there is no evidence to
link the occurrence , the sheep'
were attacked the same night as

The regular meeting of Ripley
Village Council was held February
5 with all members present. Acc-
ounts of $1590.71 were approved
for payment.
I. B. M. Canada Ltd, was aWard-
ed the' contract of producing 1974
tax accounts.
Land severance applications
from Harold Wylds and Stewart
Needham were approved and for-
warded to the Land Division Com-
mittee.
Applications re McTavish Place
Snb-Division and -Huronia Park
Sub-Divigon were, discussed in
detail and approval ordered for-
warded to Toronto.
The Dog situation came to the
fore again, ending in the passing
of 'By-Law #211 being a By-Law to
licence/ all dogs. All owners will
receive' notices when dog tags are
available for sale.
Deputy reeve Bob Emerson of
Huron. Township .was present to
explain in more' detail the prog-i
ress of the Recreation Complex.
