Brownies. Tested
For A Variety
Of Their Badge;
The Brownies started their meet-
ing on Tuesday , January 22nd
with a game of "Human Ladders".
They then had Brownie Ring with
Janice McInnes as Fairy Queen. °
A new, Tweenie has joined the
pack, Annita Darnsma. Brownie
Ring was closed with God Save the.
Queen.
While the . meeting was in pro-
gress,- Mrs. Webster was busy test-
ing the .Brownies for interest bad-
ges. Brownies passing their test
for Collector Badge were Anne
Hamilton, Rosalea Cameron and
Sharon Struthers. The Toymaker.
Badge was passed by, Brenda Mac-
Leod and Janice McInnes. Sandra
Campbell passed her , Craft Badge
and Suzanne Kirkland passed .the
Canada Badge.
At Pow. Wow`they sang Happy
Birthday to Suzanne•Kirkland.
Brenda MacLeod told a story about
the Brownies of India. Mrs. Web-
sterexplained the requirements of
the Canada Badge to the Brownies.
Mrs. Webster then told about her
holiday to the Bahamas, everyone
enjoyed hearing about her trip.
Tawny Owl reminded the Brownies
about going to the Guide meeting
on Thursday for the Fly-pup.
During work period Tawny Owl
tested Michele Humphrey , ‘Sharon
Struthers and Bonnie Purves for
singing 0 Canada. Bonnie Purves
also passed her test for God Save
the Queen. Brenda MacLeod pas-
sed her test for courtesy. The
Brownies then played a game of ,
"Telephone".
The meeting was brought to a
close with the Squeeze and Taps.
