Kincardine will take a 23- point lead into the final day , at Kincardine , this coming Saturday.. Top rink on the early draw was that of Elmer and Joyce Courtney, teamed up with Clarence and Lois Polloak. Second place went to the Elliott rink of Ripley, with Jim and daughter Karen, curling with Bert and his wife Marjorie. Third and fourth place finishes• were recorded by the Jack Pym and John Matheson's Kincardine entries, respectively. Other skips, on the early draw, were those of Morris Mahood and Howard Hodge. Taking first place on the late draw , and top winner of the day, was Ray Kester's rink from Kincar dine, curling with his wife, and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Taylor. In the first game the Blades defeated the Sharks by a score of 5 to 1. Meikel Becker and Wayne Bell `each Scored twice for the Blades and David Atkinson snored once. Michael McDonagh scored for the Sharks.. In the second game the Whalers beat the Jets by the score of 5 to 2. Tom Park scored three times and Allan Stanley and Richard Jur- jens each scored once for the winners. Michael Whitcroft scored both goals for the Jets . In the final game the Crusaders defeated the Toros by the 'score of 4 to 2. Tom Sinnett scored three and Jim Smith scored once for the Crusaders.
