Open Office
In Owen Sound
Unemployment Insurance Can-
ada has opened a new office in
Owen Sonnd. It Vail serve claim-
ants in Grey and Bruce counties
previously served by the UIC
Waterloo office. The new office
is on the second floor of the Fed-
eral Building at 9O5 3rd Avenue
East.
It is one of 20 new offices/sched-
uled to open across Ontario during
the- next few months.
U1C decentralization, aimed at
more personalized service for •
elaitnants, was announced in
April by Manpower and Itrunigra-
tion Minister Robert Andras, the
minister responsible for
Unemployment Insurance, Canada .

as. On their return, they visited

their daughter , Mr. and Mrs.
Roy Hunt and boys. They also
visited by -phone with their son
George and family in Halifax.
George had just returned from
Bermuda and was leaving again
for ai3 month stint , which
would take in the. Caribbean,
France and England. George is
with the Canadian Navy.

ROY BONGERT MAN
Roy Marinus Bqngertman passed
away suddenly at his home:at
R. •R. 3 Teeswater on December
30th, 1973 in his 18th year. He
is survived' by his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Albert Bongertman, one
brother Frank, and two sisters
Mary and Joanne , all at home. ,
The late Roy Bongertman was
born April 7, 1956 in Tillsonburg
He lived his early, childhood in
Wawa,, attended school at Sea-
ford', .Clinton Kingsbricige and
'F. E. Madill in Wingham. He
was a member of the Riders Roost
Saddle Club and took part in
several local fairs and rodeos.
' Roy enjoyed so many things and
had so many plans for the future.
This past summer he wokkec,I at
the Sjaarda Turkey Farms in
Wingham , 'in the tobacco harvest
at Aylmer , and later worked in
an apple orchard at Port Stanley.
In mid-October!, Roy became ill
and spent almost two weeks in
hospitals but was sent home where
he lived the remaining two
months of• fiii life.
Funeral service was at Sacred
Heart Church,in Teeswater ,on
January 2, 1974 at 10.30 a.m.
Pallbearers were Russell Young ,
Henry , John. and Marius Beyers-
bergen , John and Jake de Bruyn.
,Flower bearers were • Randy and
Doug Jansen and Chris Buckley,
Temporary entombrnent was in
Teeswater Mausoleum with burial
to follow in Teeswater Sacred
Heart Cemetery.
