Miss Frances E. MacLean died
suddenly on Octobe-r 30, 1952, at
her home at Dungannon, where
she had retired in June 1946 after
more than two score years in the
teaching profession.

Lucknow and located in the John-
stone Block store, formerly occu-
pied by Ashton's Tot-To-Teen.

TheKairshea Club were making
plans for the St. Andrew's Ball.
Music was being supplied by Mc-
Cartney's Orchestra and Pipers
and a feature of the evening,was
to be the March of the Haggis at
midnight and• led by Piper Mac-
Callum.
Employees of the Lucknow Tab-
le Company accepted a wage re-
duction of ten per cent.
The Teeswater branch of the
Bank of Commerce closed on. Nov-
ember 15th. The decision was
arrived at due to the fact that
there was not sufficient business
in that community' to warrant the
continuance of the services of
two banks. Teeswater also had
the Bank of Montreal.

ville until 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec
ember 13 then to lie in state at
Epworth United Church until, time
of service, at 1.30 p.m. Services
will be conducied by clergy of
Essex Presbytery. Interment
Greenhill Cemetery Kingsville.
Rev. Walker was a minister of
the United Church, going to West
China Mission in 1919, returning
to Canada in 1934. He also held
pastorates in Dungannon, Hickson
Woodstock, Harrow, Sandwich,
Tecumseh. retiring 'to Kingsville
in 1966. Rev. ". A. Walker was
minister at 'Dungannon and Crewe
charges, for the years 1927-1929.
