May Swap Roads
-Bruce County Council has decid-ed to go along with the ministry
of transportation swapping
County Road 8; from Sauble Beach
to Hepworth for provincial
Hi way 6 from Highway 21.to
Hepworth,
lacreasing traffic to the Sauble
Beach area prompted council to
ask the ministry that it assume re-
spoasiblity for the road. The min istry said it would assume the
eight-mile toad to, Sauble Beach
providing the 6 1/2 miles of
highway 6 it reverted to the
county system..
Highway 6 here for* the
boundary between Bruce and. Grey
counties. Both would share in its
maiuratenance However . Grey
council has added the •
proviso that the province must in return assume certain roads in
that county.
