ed by the village and is being
reprinted in the hope that some-
one might be of assistance to the
writer.

Dear Sir,
With all the happy peacefulness of a child's
prayer, we greet you`during this holy season. I am writing to you in the sin-
cere hopes that you can assist
me with My hockey project and
my rearch into the early era of
this -sport. Since 1 6, I have
been trying to obtain the signa-
ture of hockey players of the past
eras, entering these into albriTs
along with the photo and records
of each individual that I could
find. The sole purpose of all this
is my desire to weary towards pres-
erving our hockey heritage and the
memory of these men Who helped •
pioneer this sport. This I want
to leave to My children as their
legacy for future years. this know-
ledge of our hockey blistery.
Any assistance that you could
give me in this.search would be
greatly appreciated. The player .
